KU Kogarah Children’s Centre , located within walking distance to Kogarah Station is a 75 place long day care providing care and an educational program to children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old. In addition to the high-quality well-rounded programs, KU Kogarah specialises in cultural competence and inclusion and incorporate this into our program through our cultural program which includes the continuous learning of new cultural traditions, and honoring differences.
The team have the perfect opportunity for somebody that is looking to work a few hours per day in the afternoon. Perhaps you are studying and want to have a good balance between work and study, or maybe you already have a job in the mornings.
On a permanent basis, you would work 1:20pm-5:20pm (4 hours per day) Wednesday-Friday. You would have the opportunity to pick up additional hours within the service as they are available.

Of course, you will need:
- Australian working rights
- A current NSW Working with Children Check
- An ACECQA recognised Certificate III
- Completed training in Child Protection
- Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
- Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
